Even if this bet is lost I will trade part of it in live betting.
Croatia is a team that is very good in 3p shots, this is the way they won against Australia, as I watched the game. In games versus Lithuania and Argentina they didn't put their 3p shots in and lost, but against Lithuania they provided a decent game. I saw Spain against China and they were abysmal in the first 3 quarters. Yet they managed to win after overtime! Against USA was just showtime. Against Angola (and Germany, however Germany had a decent team that failed expectations) they succeeded in losing at the 1st quarter! The Spanish don't really seem reliable to me after these performances.

Pick: Australia ML Result: 106-75 Stake: 8/10 Odds: 5.00 Bookmaker: Bet365vCash: Yes Posted: Aug 18, 2008, 02:07
This pick might have a national bias!
Having watched all Australia games (except the one with Argentina) and most Lithuanian games I believe that these odds are too high. While Lithuania is the favorite here Australia has a world class center (Bogut) and some quality players like Newley, Bruton, Andersen (even if he is Bogut's replacement player most of the time). What is more important though is that the Lithuanian team will only play for fame here. The Australians will probably face the USA team on next round (Croatia will easily crush Iran to ensure this) so it's the end of the line for them. Australia doesn't have a player like Siskauskas of course, but as I said it would be better for the Lithuanian team to take this game lightly as they will face Greece or China in the next round.

Odds are unrealistic to that, Blue Square has odds of 2.875 for this bet. York was a team with both games ending with clean sheets this season, while Histon has only scored 1 goal. However Histon had games with 2 promotion favorites, Mansfield and Torquay.
Despite not getting the full truth from stats both of the teams had more 1 game out of 3 last season ending with 4 goals or more (9 out of 23) and both of their games last season ended with 4 or more goals. Regarding team news York is a team that will be without their starting GK Krysiak, who got an injury on his last game and Histon will miss 2 defenders. These news add to the pick.

Pick: Swan IC Result: 2-1 Stake: 8/10 Odds: 2.50 Bookmaker: SportingbetvCash: Yes Posted: Aug 02, 2008, 05:36
Swan Italian Club is a team that is very strong when playing at home, while they are weak when playing away. For this game they have some suspended and injured players returning to the match squad.
ECU Joondalup will have a key player (he is also their vice captain) suspended as he was sent off in last weeks' defeat 0-4 by Mandurah. They will also have some first team starters unavailable for various reasons.
